Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2965.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Ensure the Google Hangouts window is the only window open. 2. Close the Google Hangouts window via close window (X top right) 3. Hangouts will reappear, reinitialize and reconnect. 4. Close the Google Hangouts window via close window (X top right) 5. Hangouts will reappear, reinitialize and reconnect. 6. go to step 2 What is the expected behavior? Should minimize to tray area instead. What went wrong? Overall process management in Chrome needs review. If the last Chrome Browser window is closed, this also triggers a reinitialize and reconnect for Google Hangouts. If the last Chrome Browser window is closed, when Chrome is re-launched, it will re-display the last viewed URL instead of the "on startup preference", this suggests it thinks it experienced a crash instead of a close. Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 57.0.2965.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 Windows 10 x64

Forgot to mention I was talking about the Google Hangouts Chrome Extension. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hangouts/nckgahadagoaajjgafhacjanaoiihapd I have posted a YouTube video demonstrating the problem, but I am still blurring out the personal details and am waiting for the processing to finish... before I post the link. I expect to be told I've posted the problem to the wrong product forum, at least I'll have the reproduce-video ready.

I'm confident that the issue is located in Chrome, since Chrome Stable doesn't have this problem with the same extension, only Chrome Canary does.

I am unable to reproduce the fault after renaming the "User Data" folder, launching Chrome, and logging in to Chrome again.
