Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Type drive.google.com and press tab to search 2. Type "hello world" 3. Press enter to search What is the expected behavior? q param should be hello%20world https://drive.google.com/drive/search?q=hello%20world What went wrong? q param is hello%2520world https://drive.google.com/drive/search?q=hello%2520world Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 This occurs in Chrome for Mac (version unknown). Unable to reproduce this issue on windows 10 with chrome version #55.0.2883.87. Observed q param is "hello%20world", loorongjie@ Could you please re-try this scenario with clean profile with no apps/extensions and let us know your observations Attaching screen-cast for your reference.

@kkaluri: You misunderstood me. I said it worked fine for Chrome 55.0.2883.87 m Windows 10 (64-bit), which is my machine. A Mac user from Chrome forum said it does work on Mac. I merely filed the bug for him/her (see comment#1)
