Issue descriptionChrome Version: 57.0.2950.3 (Official Build) dev (32-bit) OS: Android What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Go to google.ae (2) Type ﺝ (U+FE9D) followed by ي (U+FEF1). It can be seen that both the text combine together to form a complex character. (3) Now click on search. (4) Clear the text in search box and again type ﺝ (U+FE9D (5) Observe that in the first suggestion (blue color), both ﺝ (U+FE9D) and ي (U+FEF1) are separated by space. Please refer to the attached screencshot. What is the expected result? The suggestion should be shown as the merged result of both the characters. What happens instead? Instead, both the characters are shown separately with any complex shaping. Please use labels and text to provide additional information. I found out that same issue exists in firefox as well. |
