Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 10 for chrome stable version# 55.0.2883.87. Navigated to the above links and tried uploading files. no crash was observed. Tried multiple times.

@ wisepenny79: Could you please help us with a crash ID, generated from chrome://crashes.

Thanks.!
Hello!

I seem to be unable to generate a crash report. These crashes are not showing up at chrome://crashes

But basically I am getting a "not responding" message when I drag and drop too quick. Is there a way I can attach a video? When I try to attach my video, it says I can only attach 10MB. My video is 116.27MB.
So far this happens on 3 machines (one with freshly installed Chrome). Still not showing up on crash report, but getting "not responding". As I said, I have a video that is too bit to attach here.

My problem seems similar to this: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=388661

The problem seems to mostly happen when I hit the "cancel" button in the file picker. It mostly only happens when the drag and drop is done quick. So my problem is probably the same as what is going on here: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=388661
Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
I could not reproduce the issue on Windows 10 or Linux, so I'm marking WontFix. I'd be happy to take another look if given more information.

In order to maximize the chances of us being able to reproduce, please outline very specific steps. Please pick one page (ideally, the one that crashes most consistently) and enumerate the exact actions that you're taking.

If you want to share a larger video, please consider uploading to a site (ideally YouTube), and give us the link. Please do not use a site that would require us to sign up / log in to see the video.

Thank you very much for taking the time to report Chrome issues, and I'm sorry that this resolution is not what you're hoping for!

Here is a video:

https://youtu.be/L4_TbEz6UzM

In the video, I go to each site listed above. First I drag slow so it works, then I drag fast to show the crash

Steps:

1) Go to http://www.plupload.com/examples

2) Click add files

3) Drag file as quick as possible into drop area.

4) After drop, click cancel to close file picker

5) If no crash, try again a few times. This happens on several machines not on same network. Please see video.

Thanks for your patience!
I can confirm this issue still occurs. This issue has been reported since 2014 multiple times. See:

https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=388661
https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=424538
https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=677197

I've been able to reproduce it in multiple pages by:

1.- Opening File Dialog Window
2.- Drag & Drop file from window
3.- Hit cancel
4.- Chrome hangs (unresponsive)

***Issue occurs intermittently. So please try multiple times
