I guess it could be just my device. I can't find anyone else having the problem. Was hoping it was a known issue in the backlog.

What do you mean by "embedded chrome browser player"? Do you mean WebView, or is this like chrome custom tabs?

Yes, WebView. Some video apps like the Youtube app work fine. But others
which I assume are WebView related don't like SoundCloud (im guessing uses
WebView to visualize the audio).
If I revert back to WebView version 50.0.2661.86 I get some apps to
work,but not all.

nswilhelm@ thanks for the feedback. Can you find an app which reproduces the issue other than soundcloud? That app requires an account.

If you can point me toward an app, I'll see if I can repro on a Nexus device.

Youtube videos thru the Chrome Browser App do it. Using the Youtube app
works fine, but using the chrome browser the videos are in slow motion with
no sound.

Are you able to capture and attach a bugreport at the time this occurs?

I am not. I installed a system update the other day and now everything
seems to work fine. Thanks

I couldn't repro, and since the issue seems to be solved for the reporter, I'll just close this. We can revisit if this persists.
