Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.95 Safari/537.36 Example URL: http://twokinds.keenspot.com Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open any non-HTTPS website (e.g. http://twokinds.keenspot.com) 2. Error page with ERR_SOCKET_NOT_CONNECTED opens What is the expected behavior? The web page should be loaded even if it is not requesting the site via HTTPS What went wrong? net-internals log attached Did this work before? After the third restart of my Mac and somehow "crashing" Chrome often enough (killing it via holding Alt and then clicking on Close on the Dockbar), it somehow forgot all open Tabs and since then it works again. So right now, it seems like we can close this ticket.

Thanks for the followup! Weird that a couple reboots and restarting Chrome a lot seemed to fix this. Going to close this bug, as requested, but if you run into this again, feel free to file a new bug (If it happens in the next week or so, can just comment here and I'll re-open, but after that, updates on this bug are likely to be overlooked). |
