Text input adding capitalization and spacing on an email field.

Project Member Reported by girard@chromium.org, Dec 25 2016

Issue description

When logging in to http://shoprescuespa.com/ the email field is defined as:

From chrome inspector/devtools, the field is flagged with
<input type="email" autocapitalize="off" autocorrect="off" spellcheck="false" name="login[username]" id="mini-login" class="input-text validate-email required-entry">

Using android (swype) input, the field is filled with "Girard@Chromium. org"

Chrome 55.0.2883.91

Components: Blink>Editing>IME
Does this still repro? I recently rewrote most of the autocapitalize code to improve compatibility with iOS Safari. If this is still not working, I think it’s probably a Swype bug.
