Chrome prints blank pages when black and white is selected

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. From Gmail select a mail and click on print icon
2. Select color -> black and white
3. Click on print

What is the expected behavior?
Expecting a black and white print of the page

What went wrong?
A white page is quickly printed.
Print a colored page if color is selected on point 2

Did this work before? Yes unknown

Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 10 with chrome stable version#55.0.2883.87 as per the steps mentioned in comment#0.

A black & white page from mail (colored page) printed successfully.

Please check the issue with clean profile & let us know your observations.

Same thing with new windows 10 user and clean chrome profile.
Maybe the problem is specific to the HP DeskJet 815C ?

Tested this issue with the available printer at Chrome-hyd team.Can anyone from MTV team please look into this issue.

I presume other content from other applications prints correctly. Is that true? Does other web content print correctly? Does the gmail content from Firefox or other browsers print correctly?

Just trying to narrow down the exact nature of the problem.
