What steps will reproduce the problem?
HP Chrome FW : 54.0.2840.103
Acer Chrome FW´: 55.0.2883.103
Projectors which are connected through a HDMI signal amplifier to HP and Acer Chromebook (Celeron CPUs) shows often no display (doesn’t recognize)
This occurs with HP Chromebooks with Intel N2840 and N2940 CPUs (Chrome FW 54.0.2840.103), as well with an Acer Chromebook (CB3-131-C1CA) N2840 CPU (Chrome FW 4.0.2840.103).
Works fine with HP (Pentium 4405Y) Chromebook 13”, Chrome Pixel, standard “Intel” Notebook
Direct connection to the projector works fine as well.
Is there any setting / improvement of the internal HDMI protocol e.g switch off low power or sleep control for the HDMI port/connector?
What is the expected result?
Everytime to recognize the projector
What happens instead of that?
No display

Please give more detail about the setup, like how long the HDMI cables and what brand/model of the amplifier and the cables. Probably it may be the problem of the amplifier which weakens the DDC signal.
