Issue description- (martiniss) Recipe step naming -- doc - This is blocking correct logs link in perf dashboard - Adding link directly to perf dashboard results - Adding swarming shard dimension id - Distinguishing purple vs red - Timeouts - Nesting trigger steps, potentially others? - Remove stdio link and replace with only logdog - Can we redirect for links from bugs? - Results_dashboard.py generate stdio link to logdog instead of buildbot - Split up src side buildbot json Assigning to Stephen to start - but there's a lot of stuff here that we could break out.

Is there additional context here? Otherwise, I'm inclined to archive this. We do intend to make general improvements to how swarming & the recipes interact.

I think many of these items are obsolete, things that we have fixed are: * correct logs link in perf dashboard * nesting trigger steps * results_dashboard.py generate stdio link to logdog instead of buildbot The rest, I am not sure

I think we can safely close we have also: - added link directly to perf dashboard results - adding swarming shard dimension id - split up src side buildbot json I don't think there is anything outstanding that is urgent and or still needed atm. |
