history.length is incorrect on page load (2 instead of 1) |
||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 57.0.2957.0 canary (64-bit) OS: Windows 10 The test at http://w3c-test.org/html/browsers/browsing-the-web/history-traversal/same-url.html fails on the initial page load sanity check that history.length is 1. Instead, Chrome gives 2. This is presumably because an iframe transitioned from about:blank to a new page, but per spec that navigation is performed with replacement enabled, and so should replace the previous history entry, not create a new one.
