Anchor tag with a pseudo:after 'chevron' content(e605) wraps on to next line when link text contains 'gu' or 'fu'

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/601.7.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/9.1.2 Safari/601.7.7

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. defined styles for anchor tag
2. add pseudo after element as chevron(e605)
3. specify the link text as 'View the guide'

What is the expected behavior?
both the link and chevron should appear on the same line

What went wrong?
the chevron breaks to next line when viewed on Chrome

Did this work before? No 

Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87  Channel: n/a
OS Version: 7 Enterprise 64-bit(6.1, Build 7601)
