Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Im having a very peculiar issue with regard to Chrome & all Google apps on my iPhone.

1. I open the app
2. I sign in via settings
3. It remains signed in
4. I swipe up and close the app
5. The moment i close the app (swipe up & close) and relaunch it then it loses the previous sign in details and again tells me to enter username password. Everytime. It doesnt seem to save the details.

I have all apps including chrome to the latest version yet facing this issue

I had noticed previously when it used to work I used to open the app it always used to suggest my gmail id's but now everytime just "add account" is mentioned.

Been facing this issue only for the past 1-2 months.

Just to reiterate - On my phone (iPhone 6, iOS 8.1) just the Google related apps are affected - Chrome, Gmail, Drive etc. There is no such sign in issue existent with any of the other apps like facebook, twitter, snapchat, etc etc.

I hope you will understand how frustrating it is to sign in everytime.

Can it some sort of virus? Extremely worried.

I have tried restarting the phone, rebooting, deleting the app and reinstalling it, clearing cookies, turning on the autofill etc but I just dont know how to resolve this repeated sign in process.

The google apps im using are Chrome, Gmail, calendar, youtube, maps, drive, keep, etc.

Phone info - iPhone 6, ios 8.1.

Please help me.

What is the expected behavior?
It should remain signed in

What went wrong?
It signs out automatically or loses the sign in after I close the app.

Did this work before? Yes

Chrome version: 47.0.2526.107 Channel: n/a
OS Version: iOS 8.1
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

viply1@ As far as Google Chrome, we no longer support iOS8 version.
So upgrade your iOS device to the latest available iOS version and Google Chrome and see if you are still having any issues.
Please re-open if you are still have any issue after the upgrade. Thanks.
