Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open Run Command and enter "chrome.exe --use-gl=desktop" 2. Minimize Maximize browser 3. observe the hang and not responding state What is the expected behavior? Chrome should launch without any issue in OpenGL mode What went wrong? Chrome browser hang or not responding observed in OpenGL Mode Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

I have verified this with fresh Win10 x64 bit OS and fresh Google chrome (Without any extension ) still i am able to reproduce issue I got below regression for This issue Google Chrome 55.0.2883.87 (Official Build) m (64-bit) Fail Chromium 54.0.2840.99 (Official Build) (64-bit) Pass

--use-gl=desktop is not supported. Please don't rely on it working. You may be able to make it work with --disable-gpu-sandbox, but it is highly unsupported. --use-angle=gl (ANGLE's OpenGL backend), on the other hand, is well supported and tested. Please use it if you aim to run Chrome on top of OpenGL on Windows.
