Unable to reproduce the issue on Mac 10.12.2 with chrome version #55.0.2883.95. Observed that on logging into test url, no crash or non-responsiveness is seen. Attaching the screen-cast for your reference,Could you try same scenario with the clean profile with no apps & extensions and let us know your observations. Thank You...

Judging by the error log this is caused by document.write intervention enabled in Chrome 55: https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5718547946799104 To check whether this is the case, try setting chrome://flags/#disallow-doc-written-script-loads flag to Disabled. See also https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2016/08/removing-document-write

Retested again with the chrome://flags/#disallow-doc-written-script-loads flag to disabled as per comment #3. But still didn't observe any crash or non-responsiveness. Attaching the screencast for your reference.

My comment#3 was for the reporter based on a guess that their connection speed or latency triggers the intervention, which is activated in such cases. I'm not sure this can be reproduced as is without forcing low connection speed in devtools Network panel's "throttling" dropdown in the toolbar (like GPRS or 2G).

The website is down, we haven't heard back from the submitter. Tentatively closing. Please chime if this still is an issue (new repro steps, etc.). |
