Regression: Page becomes unresponsive after clicking on print button

Chrome Version:  57.0.2956.0 dev 
OS: Ubuntu 14.04

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Sign in to gmail >> Open any mail thread and click on print icon present on top right corner of mail chain so that print preview appears in new tab
(2)Now go to previous tab i.e; Gmail tab and observe.

Expected: Page should be responsive.
Actual: Instead nothing happens on clicking.

This is a regression issue as it is working fine in M56 beta. Will provide bisect info soon.

Another scenario: 

1.Go to chrome://credits >> Hit print button present on top >> Now on print preview page click on any any homepage link so that another tab opens. 
2.Go to previous tab >> Cancel print preview and observe.

Page becomes unresponsive.

Able to reproduce the issue on the latest canary(57.0.2956.0) of Mac OS 10.12.6 as well.

Using the per-revision bisect providing the bisect results,
Good build: 57.0.2952.0 (Revision: 438707).
Bad build: 57.0.2953.0 (Revision: 438989).

You are probably looking for a change made after 438961 (known good), but no later than 438962 (first known bad).
