Chrome crashing intermittently - chrome.exe - Application Error

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Chrome 54 (or 55) is running
2. Windows may report low Virtual memory
3. Chrome will display pop up (Application popup: chrome.exe - Application Error : The exception unknown software exception (0xe06d7363) occurred in the application at location 0x751ec54f.)

What is the expected behavior?

Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
Closing the issue as there is no user update on this for long. Feel free to ping this bug or file a new issue if you still see this on the latest version.
Crashing issue has been fixed in Chrome v56.0.2924.76  Not sure what the cause was but stability has returned.
