Issue descriptionChrome Version:57.0.2953.0 (Official Build) (64-bit) 5cc5609d072e90e2b1fe5d9de04bf00d45c5a5c6-refs/heads/master@{#438989}-32/64 bit OS : Mac(10.11.6, 10.12.1, 10.12), Windows(7,8,8.1,10), Linux (14.04 LTS) Steps: 1. Launch Chrome and navigate to chrome://md-settings/content/cookies 2. Type any keyword like 's',etc in 'Search cookies' text field and then click on close icon (x) seen on it 3. Observe Actual: 'Search cookies' ghost text does not appear after clicking on close icon (x). Expected: 'Search cookies' ghost text should appear after clicking on close icon (x). This is a regression issue broken in M-57, will soon update the bisect info. Good build: 57.0.2951.0 Bad build: 57.0.2952.0

Just for update, Still able to reproduce the issue on windows-7 using latest chrome canary version 57.0.2982.0. @tsergeant Could you please look into this issue. Thanks!

Oops, I had the wrong bug number in the CL description. This was fixed by R444578. |
