So, it's possible, but requires hacking webbrowser lib of Python SDK: https://hg.python.org/cpython/file/2.7/Lib/webbrowser.py#l198 which is the first thing called on my machine. As you can see, stderr isn't hidden in subporcess.Popen call. I don't have how to fix this without forking webbrowser library or monkey patching, both seem bad.

Aren't those coming from Chrome? Some of that is covered under bug 644571. The rest is due to b/36497129. BTW, glad to see "git cl web" actually being used.

I use `git cl web` all the time, so much so that I also keep typing it while in ssh-ing :(
