Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
This was an intentional change in https://codereview.chromium.org/2210253002/ and happened before Pointer Events was shipped.

Did this change break some code in the wild? It should never be necessary to use createEvent, as PointerEvent has a constructor.
