johnkurzejajr@ triage-te is a label used for our internal triage process.

Summary: Displeased with Custom Tabs on Tablets (potentially elderberry) (was: Please read)
The second screen you are seeing is a Custom Tab, which is a lightweight activity provided by Chrome (shares your state with Chrome, but goes for a minimal feel and doesn't have to consider loading anything than what is necessary to show the first page you are navigating to).

Assigning to product as I'm not sure how common custom tabs are on tablets (apps can opt into this behavior and we have an experiment to force all external navigations to chrome to do this...I suspect you're in the latter), so users are more surprised by this.

According to Sam, we trigger custom tabs on tablets so this shouldn't be something that would be too surprising.

We have decided to move forward with the launch (and I believe custom tabs are already on tablets with G+ so the elderberry launch itself won't affect much)
