Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create page with two forms with a text area each but with the second having some prepopulated text such as this (https://jsfiddle.net/ctaepodc/2/) 2. In the first text area type in "incorect" followed by a return and it will be underlined red. 3. In the second text area put your cursor before "Test" and hit return twice. Now hit the up arrow twice. Type in "incorect" followed by a return and it will not be underlined red. What is the expected behavior? "incorect" should be underlined red in both text areas. What went wrong? "incorect" is not underlined red in the text area that was pre-populated with text. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 54.0.2840.98 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.11.6 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 This issue doesn't appear in IE or Safari. It consistently happens in Chrome on Mac. Might be hit or miss on Chrome on Windows.

Tried with the followings: Mac 54.0.2840.98: repro Mac Stable (55.0.2883.95): can't repro Mac Canary (57.0.2952.0): can't repro This seems to be a bug already fixed in M55. Could you update to M55 to see if it still happens?

I was waiting to hear back from my user (I wasn't sure what OS they were on) and still haven't. That said I have tested on 55 on both Mac and Windows and it seems this is fixed. Thanks!
