Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Upload an updated package to chrome web store 2. I get on the first screen the upload was successful, go back to the developer dashboard to view the status 3. One the developer dashboard I keep getting the error: Chrome Web Store system error, please try again later. What is the expected behavior? The updated package to upload to the developer dashboard What went wrong? I don't know what is wrong, for some reason I am unable to upload an updated package to my chrome web app. Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 I have tried multiple things such as: 1. Update Chrome 2. Update Windows 3. Sign out of all google accounts, and sign only into the one that can upload to the chrome store 4. Clear browser cache and restart chrome 5. Tried uploading on a different computer I am out of ideas of what to try!

I have this error message in the console on the initial upload screen, but then I do get that the upload was successful/being processed. To view status go to the dashboard. Then it fails. I don't think there are any error messages or anything in the console log at this point, but if there is I will attach next.

Here are three consecutive screens of what looks like my app updating but then failing, and no errors or messages in the console.

Thanks -- The Webstore team is investigating.

We think the problem is that your CRX package is too big (707 MB, according to the screenshot). Is there a reason the file is this big? Are you able to reduce it?

I am not able to shrink it, but it was even bigger before approximately 800MB and it worked before. Secondly, I tried to issue an update to a different app the "Les Terrasses Francesca" App and that was only approximately 300MB and I also got a Web Store error, please try again later. Thirdly, this is for a client of mine and this really needs to be resolved as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued help.

After further investigation, we think we've identified and fixed the issue that broke large file uploads. Can you try again?

It looks like it worked! I have got the update into draft mode which I was not able to do all week. So there was an issue with large file uploads? As far as I understood, there was not supposed to be a size limit with Chrome Web Apps? Is there a limit? Thank you for resolving!

Great! It turned out to be some upstream server setting changes that slowed down upload processing, and the size of your file was causing the processing to time out. This is fixed now though. |
