Issue descriptionChrome Version : 54.0.2840.99 m URLs (if applicable) : https://threejs.org/examples/#webgl_loader_collada_keyframe Other browsers tested: Firefox: OK IE: OK What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Go to provided URL (2) Look at the gridlines below animation. Some are clipped/not-drawn in Chrome (3) Note additional long frames and lag where other browsers run smoothly What is the expected result? Full rendering of LineMaterial in threejs webgl What happens instead? Inaccurate clipping based on distance from the camera, as if they are being read as "out of frame" ADDITIONAL INFO Semi-recent bug, showed up approximately November 1st Other webgl/threejs users with different graphics cards and same chrome version have noted no problem. Therefore I believe it to be chrome's handling of my graphics card in webgl MY HARDWARE Win 10 Pro Intel i7 i74510U AMD Radeon R9 M275

Tested the issue on Latest Chrome Stable# 55.0.2883.87 on Windows 10 and could not reproduce the issue. All the grid lines below animation are displayed properly and was not having any lag. @chrsmlls333 -- Could you please upgrade your Chrome to latest stable and provide us the recent update which would help us triage further Thanks in Advance.

Now on 55.0.2883.87 m Now has the additional issue of the frame not updating unless I change the dimensions of the screen, prompting some refresh I assume. Some other webgl sketches don't do this, so this must be an additional regression to some specific call. Could it be anything other than the handling of the graphics card? Link below renders correctly but at 5fps vs ~45fps in firefox http://www.chriseugenemills.com/projects/walled-garden/

We should try this on an AMD card.. could be related. chrsmlls333 can you save and attach the contents of your about:gpu page to get exact details on your driver version, etc?

#6 Hm... the gpu.html file you provided seems to be mostly empty. Perhaps try sending a plain text version (select all, copy, paste)? Thanks.

#9 Great, thanks. From that about:gpu page it looks like you have switchable graphics and the Intel GPU is the one that's being used. The Intel GPU shouldn't be slow or have problems, either, though. Two questions: * Have you tried Chrome Canary - does it show the same problem? * If it hasn't been fixed in Canary: Do you still see this problem if you force Chrome to use the discrete GPU? You should be able to do this from the AMD control panel. Make sure you fully restart Chrome and check that the "*ACTIVE*" GPU in about:gpu is "VENDOR = 0x1002, DEVICE= 0x6820". Don't forget to change it back afterward for lower power consumption. Pointing out a few "Problems Detected" that you have that kbr does not: > Disable Direct3D11 on systems with AMD switchable graphics: 451420 > Applied Workarounds: disable_d3d11 This seems like a likely culprit for the behavior difference, but it could also just be the Intel GPU. Even if the AMD GPU is active, this workaround should still still take effect, so we'll be able to guess. > On Intel GPUs MSAA performance is not acceptable for GPU rasterization: 527565 > Applied Workarounds: msaa_is_slow I thought this could be affecting the line rasterization, but this is supposed to only affect non-WebGL. > Accelerated rasterization has been disabled, either via blacklist, about:flags or the command line. > Disabled Features: rasterization I'm not sure what this one does, but possibly noteworthy.
