Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_10_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Open the test case. What is the expected behavior? The mask on the image should not repeat on any axis. What went wrong? The mask on the image still repeats on x-axis and y-axis. Did this work before? Confirmed on Linux chrome 55 and 57. Using -webkit-mask-repeat: repeat-x (for instance) works, however.

Able to reproduce the issue on the latest canary(57.0.2952.0) on Windows-10, Mac OS 10.11.6 and Linux Ubuntu 14.04. This is non-regressed behavior seen on older chrome version: 30.0.1549.0 as well. Triaging this for more inputs.
