What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open a Chrome Window
(2) Open MacOS System Preferences
(3) Click General
(4) Check the “Automatically hide and show” the menu bar option
(5) Open the Activity Monitor and take a look at CPU usage of Chrome

What is the expected result? What happens instead?
Very high CPU usage after checking the “Automatically hide and show” the menu bar option

I can't reproduce it in latest Chrome Canary 57 but in Chrome Stable 55.

Not sure, if this bug is then still relevant.
