Regression:Warning messages are not seen in console of devtools |

Issue descriptionChrome Version:57.0.2950.0 dev OS: Ubuntu 14.04,Windows URL:https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/winters-tale/onfccapadaobphbikjbpdmbhadcedadl?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon (1)Launch chrome and navigate to the above URL. (2)Open Dev tools and click on warning icon on top right corner and observe for warning messages in console. Expected Result:Warning message should populate in console tab. Actual Result:Instead,console opens but warning messages are not seen. This is a regression issue broken in M-56. Tested the same on win10 and Linux 14.04 chrome version 57.0.2950.0 - warning icon is not seen on top right corner in the Dev tools Please find the screenshot sahitya.bukka@, Could you please recheck and update the thread.

@tkonchada: we are able to see warning messages itself after loading devtools. Note:If you are unable to see the warnings then you can change the dock it as separate window then you can able to see warnings message.

Messages are not seen because they are filtered out by 'Hide Violations'. But browser should inform developer about this either upon click on warning icon or 'Hide Violations' checkbox.

Thanks for the report, I'm able to reproduce this on Linux 57.0.2950.0. We should not confuse users by showing the warning counter when there is no indication of warnings in the console. Bisected to: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/8bf066cc7d7529342fd260e5bf3d98a97c6b133f
