tab/shelf indicators no longer appear in fullscreen

Reported by chay.mac...@gmail.com, Dec 13 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8872.70.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36
Platform: 8872.70.0 (Official Build) stable-channel peppy

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Press fullscreen button
2.
3.

What is the expected behavior?
The shelf and tab section/address bar hide, but the thin lines that represent open tabs up the top and open programs down the bottom should appear

What went wrong?
after entering fullscreen, no thin lines are visible. Active tab takes up entire screen.

Did this work before? Yes 54

Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87 Channel: stable
OS Version: 8872.70.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

This is intended. We're giving Chrome immersive mode a fullscreen treatment. No pixel taken away from content.
That's a shame, but thanks for letting me know. Is there no flag to turn it back on? I use the tab lines regularly to register if a page has successfully opened in the background. How do I feedback that I preferred it the other way?
Thanks
"How do I feedback that I preferred it the other way?"
You just did :)
We'll continue monitoring the reaction to the new paradigm and adjust accordingly if necessary.
