Chromium for mac os 10.7.5 to use electron to use VSCode

Reported by connecti...@gmail.com, Dec 12 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
I am trying to install VSCode on Mac OS 10.7.5

What is the expected behavior?
VSCode installing

What went wrong?
Mac OS Version Limitation does not let me install VSCode.
VSCode is based on Electron which is based on Chromium so Chromium has an Mac OS limitation that I want to work around

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.7.5
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

Is it possible to maybe use an older Version of Chromium to Build Electron and with that Build VSCode to have support for older Mac OS versions?
I cannot update to a newer version because of Apples Hardware limitations

rsesek@ Do you know, whether this is supported or not? Thanks.

You'd have to ask Electron/VSCode, and this isn't the right forum for that. We (Chromium) do not support 10.7 anymore.
As I already said, VSCode pointed me to Electron and they pointed me to Chromium.
Okay, so it is not possible. That is too bad.
