Issue descriptionChrome Version:57.0.2948.0 (Official Build)Revision 314c528dc177ac458d2449a8c4d937378d3b8c5e-refs/heads/master@{#437764} (32/64-bit) OS: Windows (7,8,10), Mac (10.10.5, 10.11.4), Linux (14.04 LTS). What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://md-settings (2)Press ctrl+F , enter any letter to search and observe the scroll bar. Actual: Yellow highlight doesn't appear on scroll bar after searching for any data. Expected: Yellow highlight should appear on scroll bar after searching for any data. This is a Non-regression issue seen from 'M50' series i.e. 50.0.2638.0 Note: Similar issue is seen for chrome://history page as well.

It seems that Chrome only adds a yellow mark on the scrollbar if the scrollbar is on the top-level <html> element only. This is generic behavior and not specific to Settings. Example 1: Scrollbar on <html>, yellow marks appear. https://jsfiddle.net/uajes0re/6/ Example 2: Scrollbar on <div>, yellow marks don't appear. https://jsfiddle.net/uajes0re/9/

Update: ***Mass UI Triage*** This issue is still reproducible on Windows (7, 8, 8.1, 10), Mac (10.13.1, 10.13.6, 10.14.2) and Linux (14.04 LTS) using latest Canary version #72.0.3611.0. Thank You..!! |
