CSS overflow hidden hides content incorrectly while other element's transforming

Issue descriptionChrome Version : 54.0.2840.87 m (64-bit) URLs (if applicable) : http://codepen.io/DrakeXiang/pen/mOjbgz Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari: not tested Firefox: OK 50.0.2 IE: FAIL 38.14393.0.0 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Create an round cornered element with overflow:hidden and some overflowed content (2) Make other element performs css transform in the page What is the expected result? The hidden content should be hidden with round cornered shape. What happens instead? During the transforming, the hidden content will show as a rectangle shape. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

FYI the codepen.io link reproduces the issue for me (M55, Linux). This could be a duplicate of issue 673217 .

The issue is fixed with the fix for 157218. There is another unrelated issue, maybe, where the scaled hover renders in front of the gray div but behind the red one, which we surely have tracked elsewhere. Closing this one. |
