Frequent freeze leading to black screen and Chrome OS self reboot

Reported by blo...@gmail.com, Dec 10 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8743.85.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.101 Safari/537.36
Platform: 8743.85.0 (Official Build) stable-channel zako

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Have not figured out a pattern yet. The browser itself crashed twice on 12/6 and once 12/8. These crashes DO NOT generate crash reports. OS crashes 12/8, 12/9 and 12/10.

What is the expected behavior?
Operates perfectly, just a few tabs, the system suddenly freezes and accept no input. A few weeks ago, it might come back, not it Crashes the Chrome OS - black screen and reboots

What went wrong?
I have crash reporting on. These crashes do NOT show up in crash reporting, so I think it is an OS problem.

Crashed report ID: No. See below.

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 54.0.2840.101 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 8743.85.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

Does Chrome OS have a crash report system separate from browser?
