Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows-10 using chrome latest stable M55-55.0.2883.87 by following steps mentioned below. 1. Navigated to site http://www.w3schools.com/jquery/tryit.asp?filename=tryjquery_css_scrollleft_get 2. Clicked inside the box 3. Shift+mouse wheel 4. Observed the scroll moves from left to right as expected. jason@ Are you able to reproduce this issue on incognito mode as well? Please recheck this issue by creating a new profile under chrome://settings with no apps or extension sin your browser. If issue still persists please provide the sample URl of the webpage or test case to reproduce this issue from chrome-TE end. Thanks!

Hi there. I used the case below and issue was resolved for me too, after disabling all extensions. However, using both Lucid Chart and Google spreadsheet the issue continues. I looked at the HTML code and notice both of these sites are using a canvas. Don't know if that has any impact. Kind Regards.

Previously shift scroll use to swap the delta x/y or the mousewheel/wheel events sent to the DOM. For interoperability with other vendors (FireFox and Microsoft) we stopped doing this because the other browsers didn't. This can possibly cause issues with lucid chart that it was happening automatically in chrome because this was being done. But it wouldn't have happened in Chrome. I see correct behaviour in Google Sheets. I know they had to apply a patch to fix it though; can you try with a std gmail account? It may be that you are using a Google For Work/Edu account that might be using an older version of sheets? You should likely open an issue with Lucid for a feature request if you feel you need this behaviour.
