Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: I would like to be able to temporarily disable (rather than permanently remove) (an) event listener(s) in the Elements > Event Listeners tab. It'd be a huge helper during development of (what I call) volatile page elements, such as popovers and dropdown foldouts. Style fixups and in-browser debugging of certain styling issues are taking long a time without it. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? What I tried: - Element Inspect and clicking within DevTools send the undesirable blur event - F8 - does not work for me - as above. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 54.0.2840.98 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.11.6 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 Sorry if I am misposting - what I am filing is actually a feature request rather than a bug report. In that case, please suggest correct URL for future reference.

Good idea.

Having a keyboard shortcut for toggling all blur listeners (in particular) would be a blessing, I think.

Won't fix due to lack of priority / resources |
