Issue descriptionChrome Version: 57.0.2946.0 OS: Windows (10), Mac (10.12.1) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://md-settings page. 2. Under Appearance Click on "Show Home button" 3. In the Other option, enter Url "www.google.com" and hit enter or click mouse any ware on the page and observe the URL. URL appears to be chopped. Screenshot attached. This is a regression issue, working on Bisect.

Below are the bisect details for the same: 56.0.2884.0 - Good Build 56.0.2885.0 - Bad Build You are probably looking for a change made after 424027 (known good), but no later than 424028 (first known bad).
