Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.75 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: *) The following url opens an empty tab in chrome: https://www.google.com/_/chrome/newtab *) If we access Mozilla Firefox or Intenet Explorer, the result of the page is the Google search with an incorrect design. Also, I can access the manifest file: https://www.google.com/_/chrome/newtab/manifest (see attachments) What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? The google search page is not correct on the desktop in other browsers Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 55.0.2883.75 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.3 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows-10 using chrome latest stable M55-55.0.2883.87 by following steps mentioned in the original comment. 1, By opening the URL -https://www.google.com/_/chrome/newtab observed a google search page opens normally as expected and the same behavior observed in firefox as well. 2. By opening the URL- https://www.google.com/_/chrome/newtab/manifest Error 404 is observed Reporter@ - Could you please confirm is this issue is related to chrome or any other browsers, since you have mentioned saying issue is observed in firefox and IE in the original comment. If this issue is related to chrome please provide detailed information of the issue along with actual and expected behavior screen-shot. Thanks!
