tobias.kettner@ Thanks for the report, and it looks like a regression with M56 - though we cannot start investigation on it without local reproduction. The site looks internal and we cannot access it, and it seems difficult to set up our own. If you have a minimum reproduction case, it would be very appreciated. At least, could you check opening a developer tools (right click->Inspect) and see "Console" tab if there is any error message? If so, could you copy & paste here? In the meantime, could you also try reporting this to your IT department or your system provider if they can take a look at this? If they could pinpoint what issue in M56 preventing the system from working, it is very appreciated.

Hi, thank you for further looking into this topic. Unfortunately I cannot supply a minimum test case, but I have found some differences using developer toolbar. On the beta release I am getting a warning, which I don't get in stable. - Form submission canceled because the form is not connected - See attached screenshot. If I break into this part of the JS and force it to use the else case "contentAreaForm.submit()" everything is loading es expected. We have already created a ticket in the SAP ticketing system, unfortunately acces to this system is only accessible for SAP customers. But a link to this thread is also added there. https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/incident/pointer/002075129500004618222016 During my investigation into this problem I have found following user (SAP Person) who has regularly reported topcics concerning Chrome + SAP, maybe you have a way to contact him. https://bugs.chromium.org/u/2967010043/

tobias.kettner@ Thanks for the update! From the developer console, it is trying to submit a form which is orphaned from the document tree, which should be definitely one of the reasons for this regression (could be the only one). Recently the behavior on Chrome changed (see issue 586749 ). The change was reverted for M55 and M54, which coincides that this failure starts from M56 (now beta). Cc'ing people involved in issue 586749 .

Routing to Forms>Submission.

According to the screenshot in Comment 5, SAP should update the code. Chrome's behavior change is intentional.

I got feedback from SAP, there is a SAP Note "2372722 - Portal is not loaded on Chrome 54 and above", which should correct this problem. https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/0002372722 Thank you for your investigation
