google sign in will not work properly; sync will not work at all, changed password a dozen times,red symbol besides name on top right hand side?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)sign in doesnt take
(2)sync will not work
(3)
What is the expected result? cannot sync gmail to android phone
What happens instead? nothing happens

Thanks for your report! Can you give more details for further investigation: 1. Are you seeing red mark when you tried to add Google Account from Android Settings>Add Account or under Chrome Settings>Menu>Sign in to Chrome? 2. What does red mark say ? (like Passphrase required or something else) 3. Can you attach video or screenshot (if possible) ? 4. Please provide Device Model / OS version and Chrome version.

seems to be fixed now, changed the password again and the red symbol has gone, thanks
