Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2946.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Build Chromium with Clang/LLVM and LLD 2. Open web page, open link(s) to new tab(s) 3. Crash What is the expected behavior? Not to crash. What went wrong? Debug log attached. Crashed report ID: How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 57.0.2946.0 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: not installed I am not sure of the exact revision for the regression, though the crasher with LLD linked Windows builds started sometime around or shortly after 55.0.2882.0. Using extremely basic build arguments: is_clang = true use_lld = true is_debug = false

Updated feedback based upon ongoing local builds. Component builds work, as with the current Clang+LLD buildbots. Non-component static builds crash upon launch.
