Note that the "Download Image..." right-click menu item is already present. It's just nonfunctional.

It is not clear to me what the issue is.

When you right-click on a <canvas> element you get a menu that offers a "Save Image as..." option. If you select that option you get a dialog for selecting a download destination. This writes a png file to disk with the image that was in the canvas.

Do you not see a menu that pops up when you right click?
I don't see the menu at all.
Can be a glitch with Windows 14896 then. I will re-test this when the next Windows 10 stable release rolls out.

Hmmm... I was testing on Windows 7. So it could be a Windows 10-specific bug. Let's keep this issue open until the root cause is identified.

Flagging for test engineering to take a look: Please try to repro on a Win10 test machine.

@ arthur200126 : Please respond to comment#9.

Thank you!
New profile works in incognito mode. Without incognito I seem to have Proxy SwitchyOmega, HTTPS Everywhere and a few Google Docs Extensions enabled. Should I try to bisect that down so I can report an issue to whoever is causing that?

Hmm... Comment #11 already shows working state with a clean profile in incognito mode. I thought this report have already been considered as a false alarm caused by Insider Preview or something.
