Thank you for the report.

I haven't been able to repro the crash on Asus Memo Pad FHD 10 (ME302C) with Android 4.2.2.

To help us debug, please provide more info.
- What Android version do you have installed?
- Are you signed into Chrome?
- What version of Google Play Services do you have? You can check this in Android settings > Apps > All > Google Play Services.

Thanks.
Android version - 4.3
Yes, signed in to Chrome
Google Play version - 10.0.84(070 - 137749526)
Thanks for the quick response!

I was able to repro after updating system image to Android 4.3.

Okay. At least I know I'm not crazy. I'll wait to hear from you before I
try anything on my end.
I can confirm it's a Chrome bug - we are going to try to have it fixed in a new version ASAP, hopefully tomorrow but early next week at the latest. Thanks again for the report, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience!
Status: Fixed (was: Untriaged)
We've just submitted a new version of Chrome to the Play Store, 55.0.2883.91 - it will be available for download on your device in the next 6-8 hours assuming nothing goes wrong. It should fix your crash, so I am going to mark this bug as fixed, but please let us know here if you still encounter crashes once you've received the update. Thanks for the report!

[Auto-generated comment by a script] We noticed that this issue is targeted for M-55; it appears the fix may have landed after branch point, meaning a merge might be required. Please confirm if a merge is required here - if so add Merge-Request-55 label, otherwise remove Merge-TBD label. Thanks.
Thank you.
I've downloaded the update and it appears to be working. Thanks. But there
is one other problem I've been having. When I view a trailer on
comingsoon.net or aintitcoolnews.com, using chrome, the video stutters.
It's as if I'm getting double frames or every other frame. I thought it was
my tablets problem, but while I was waiting for you to fix the crashing, I
Used another browser and did not have the problem. This has been going on
for at least two months, maybe longer. Any ideas?

candrada@, can we see if we can repro what reader.joe1@ has reported in c#10, and if so file a new bug for tracking?
Status: Verified (was: Fixed)
Thanks for confirming that it is no longer crashing after latest update.

I've filed issue 673972 to track the videos problem.
Okay. Thanks.
