SVG image color conversion

Project Member Reported by ccameron@chromium.org, Dec 8 2016

Issue description

For issue 667431 , it will be necessary to ensure that SVG images are color converted to match all other web content.

At a minimum, this will require that SVGImageForContainer::draw, SVGImageForContainer::drawPattern, and SVGImageForContainer::imageForCurrentFrame be updated to respect the color behavior request of their caller.

Is this spec'ed anywhere?

Is this any more than correct interpretation and conversion of CSS and SVG color values before they are used in rendering, as that is the only source of color information we have (i.e. there is no notion of a saved image with a particular color space)? Otherwise things are tricky. These days we never generate an image from the SVG in this situation so color conversion is non-obvious.

As specced as this is in general I suppose - i.e I don't see any reason why this would differ from how SVG would render in any other embedding context (or at the top-level for that matter.) So what you said in the first sentence of your second paragraph (but turned into a statement.)
