Steps To Reproduce: (1)Open chrome home page (2)Give space bar command on search page (3)It disappears Expected Result:Like google page itself takes space bar command in search tab. Actual Result:Google search on chrome home page disappears How frequently does this problem reproduce? Always What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is it? Impact is low, but google logo disappear

When you start typing anything into the search box in the middle of the page, focus moves to the Omnibox (the search bar at the top) and you actually type in there. At the same time, the search box and the Google logo disappear - that's by design, though I don't know the reasoning behind it. IMO it makes sense that the search box disappears (since you're not actually typing into it), but for the logo.. I don't know. So this is working as intended for now, but let's keep it around as a feature request, so we'll revisit this decision at some point.
