I receive no prompt to Save my password despite the page not being on my "Never save" list. accounts.google.com All my other accounts have no issue with password saving excluding my main email. What went wrong? Settings don't seem to either display a website marked as "never save" for password memory Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 54.0.2840.99 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 I went through the help page and while informative it didn't actually help me in this situation.

I am able to reproduce the issue on the reported version: 54.0.2840.99 and somehow on older chrome version: 40.0.2172.0, didn't get the saved password prompt while signing to Chrome. Not sure if this behavior with accounts.google.com is correct. Cc'ing vabr@ for more inputs on this.

Thanks for the report. You are likely trying to save the same Google account, which you use for signing into Chrome. Please see https://dev.chromium.org/Home/chromium-security/security-faq#TOC-Why-doesn-t-the-Password-Manager-save-my-Google-password-if-I-am-using-Chrome-Sync- for why we don't allow that.
