Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Have a window in Mac fullscreen mode. 2. Press Cmd-F. 3. Press Esc. What is the expected behavior? Exit find-in-page mode. What went wrong? The find controls stay onscreen and the window exits fullscreen mode. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 54.0.2840.98 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.1 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 This started happening when I upgraded to macOS Sierra. I have only tested on the one such machine I have handy, so apologies if this turns out not reproducible.

I found a claim that Esc exiting fullscreen is OS-provided behavior. However, Esc does not exit fullscreen when the focus is on the web page or e.g. the address bar or bookmark popup, so this still seems inconsistent within Chrome. |
