No longer able to view cert info from the padlock

Reported by m...@fireburn.co.uk, Dec 6 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.75 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Click on padlock
2. No option to view cert info
3.

What is the expected behavior?
Used to be a details option that showed the security tab in the console with the option to view certificate

What went wrong?
Looks like the UI has been updated either deliberately or accidentally to remove this feature

Did this work before? Yes 55.0.2883.75

Chrome version: 56.0.2924.14 Channel: dev
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

Sorry this should probably be a UI issue rather than a security one

Hi, thanks for the report. This was an intentional change to make room for a "Learn more" link aimed at laypeople as part of our effort to mark HTTP sites with a "Not secure" warning in M56. Issue 663971 has some ideas for making it easier to get to the cert viewer in future releases.

Explicitly marking as duplicate so we can keep track of bugs about this.
