Chrome prompts me to kill unresponsive script when page loading is pause with the 'X'

Issue description

Chrome Version       : 54.0.2840.100 (Developer Build) (64-bit)
Other browsers tested:
  Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
    Firefox: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Go to a website that usually takes a long time to load.
(2) Press the X stop button while it's mid load so you get stuck on a blank screen.
(3) Wait

What is the expected result?
Nothing happens until I go to another website

What happens instead?
Chromium notifies me about an unresponsive script and asks if I want to kill it.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Information of what website I was visiting has been blurred.

@timorcb -- Thank You for the report.
Could you please upgrade Chrome to M55# 55.0.2883.87 on Windows and Linux and let us know if you are still seeing the same behavior.

@msrchanda I left it open while I typed that reply. Just after a finished typing, the problem occurred again. Sorry for the misinformation.

Re-checked the issue on Latest Stable# 56.0.2924.87 and could not reproduce the issue.
Could you please upgrade your Chrome to latest version mentioned and also let us know the specific URL which you visited.
