I enabled "Enable Material Design feedback" and "Enable Material Design extensions", went on chrome://extensions and tried to turn on or off some extensions, but the switches are not working. They give visual feedback that they have been pressed (i.e. ripple effect), but they do not change their state (switch from on to off or the other way). The same applies to the toggle developer option, still on the extensions page. I tried to report the problem from chrome://feedback, but even there the buttons do not seem to work.

I'm using chromium, Version 53.0.2785.143 Built on 8.6, running on Debian 8.6 (64-bit).
