Issue descriptionChrome Version: 57.0.2925.0 Chrome OS Version: 9005.0.2016_11_27_1107 Chrome OS Platform: x86-generic Network info: Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add the label below). Steps To Reproduce: (1) Open up https://anotepad.com/ (or any web page containing a textarea). (2) Type "hello". (3) Type 2 SPACEs or ENTERs. Expected Result: 2 SPACEs: 2 spaces after "hello" (i.e. "hello "). 2 ENTERs: 2 new lines after "hello" (i.e. "hello\n\n"). Actual Result: I see "hello. " How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to reproduce?) It can be always reproduced just after login. But after 1 or 2 minutes, this issue magically disappeared. However, this can happen after hours of use. What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is it? When I want to type in some python code like: import sys import re import yaml It is not possible to do so because the bug keeps adding periods after every line of my code. I have to add periods to make this bug happy, and remove the periods after I finish the code. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or log if possible. Screenshot is attached. For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu page at the end of this report.
