Supervised Users can use the "X" to remove any profiles |
||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 55.0.2883.75 OS: Mac, OS X 10.12.1 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Switch to supervised user's chrome profile (2) Open settings (3) Point to supervisor's chrome profile (4) Click "X" What is the expected result? A message for supervised users that says "You can't delete other profiles" or (at least) "You can't delete your supervisor's profile" What happens instead? It appears that I can delete the profile (see attached image). I didn't confirm by clicking "remove," because I don't actually want to delete my profile.

I'm not sure - also everyone can delete profiles via the user manager (user button in the top right -> Manage people). And the user manager doesn't have a concept of "current user"; it's supposed to be closer to the ChromeOS signin screen. We do have a checkbox in chrome://settings for "Let anyone add a person to Chrome", maybe that should also cover deleting profiles?

There's ongoing work with the new user manager and new settings page which should eventually solve this.
